Return & Refund Policy

We partner with reliable courier and logistics companies to ensure your artwork reaches you in perfect condition.

We have a very flexible and friendly 7 day return policy for printed canvas paintings. (In case the painting you received is damaged, the color has faded, it has torn, or you have received another painting by mistake.)

Please note we accept return requests only for unframed paintings delivered in India. Customers must raise return request within 7 days post delivery of the shipment. We do not accept return requests for framed paintings, customized paintings & portraits. Once we receive the shipment back to us, we process refund in 2 days.

Framed paintings may take an additional 2–3 days for secure packing and delivery.

Tracking details are provided via email or whatsapp once the order is shipped.

You can track the shipment directly on the courier’s website or via the tracking link provided.

Delivery Address:
  • Please ensure your delivery address, contact number, and pincode are correct while placing the order.
  • Once an order is shipped, address changes cannot be made.
Packaging:

All paintings and prints are carefully packed using industry-standard materials to prevent any transit damage. Each artwork is inspected before dispatch to maintain quality and safety.

Damaged or Missing Deliveries:

If your package appears damaged or is not received within the expected timeframe, please contact us immediately at akarcreation.rjt@gmail.com.

Conditions for Return:

  • The product must be unused and in its original packaging.
  • Returns must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the product.
  • The item must include all tags, receipts, and any accessories.
How to initiate a Return:

Provide Details: Share the following information:

Order Number.

  • Reason for return (damaged/different product, etc.).
  • photos of damaged product and videos of the product.

Including:

  • Unboxing video (from the moment you open the package).
  • Images of the damaged or incorrect product.
  • Any other relevant information.
If the product does not meet our return criteria, it will be sent back to you at your expense.

Return Process:

If eligible for returns, you can raise return request in your Akar Creation account, or you can also drop us an email mentioning which items you would like to return. Our staff will provide packing instructions and arrange pickup of the artwork from your home. If you had paid online using cards / online banking - we will refund to the same account in maximum 30 days. If you had paid using NEFT/RTGS - we will ask you for your bank account number and IFSC code for processing refunds.

For Lost / Damaged Shipments:

In rare case of lost shipments, we will offer full refunds irrespective of the delivery location or framing state.

In rare case of delivery of damaged artwork or frames, we will offer refund amounts based on the condition of the same. This will be taken case on case basis once reported to us.

  1. Cancellation requests are not accepted for below situations currently.
  2. Cancellation of a customised size handmade painting whose work has already started.
  3. Cancellation of a customized size printed painting that is already printed.
  4. Cancellation of artwork that is already framed.
  5. Cancellation of portrait that is already made.
The replaced product will be delivered within 7 days.
